I sat last saturday night dreading it, VALENTINES DAY!! How was I going to cope with that so soon after he left us. He was always so romantic and never forgot any of them. Nothing fancy just a token of his affection and usually a meal and a cheeky bottle of wine or 2. Actually is wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Being a hoarder, I had kept quite a few of the cards he had given me over the years and took great comfort in those, I ordered myself a chinese take away and had a cheeky bottle of wine. I text the kids to wish them a good valentines day with their partners. Yes a few tears came remembering our past valentines day shinanigans but it was fond memories and bitter sweet tears are better than none at all.
